Learning outcomes | |
By completing the course the student acquires basic knowledge in the field of general pharmacology and pharmacy with a focus on the method of preparation of dosage forms used in animal therapy. The graduate masters the calculation of therapeutic doses, preparation and dilution of drug solutions, handling and storage. The result of the education is an understanding of the principles of the effect of drugs, their movement in the body, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties also with respect to different methods of drug application. |
