Alopetic skin diseases in dogs and cats (hereditary and acquired) Exercise: The most common endocrinological diseases of dogs and cats 3. GIT - oral diseases cavity, stomach and intestines Exercise: Management of a patient with vomiting. Preparation and evaluation of blood smear - hematology. Care of a chronic patient with parasitic diseases of the blood. Specific blood tests - SNAP tests, blood clotting tests 4. Chronic diseases of the liver and pancreas. Diarrhea-differentiation of types of diarrhea Exercise: Management of a patient with chronic diarrhea-principles of infusion therapy and acid-base balance of the patient 5. Diseases of the urinary system - CHRZ Exercise: Approach to a patient with kidney disease, examination of urinary sediment, UP/UC 6. Urolithiasis (struvite, calcium oxalate, urate and cystine) , PU/PD syndrome Exercise: Management of a patient with PU/PD – Care of Diabetes mellitus 7. Chronic respiratory and cardiac diseases of dogs and cats Exercise: Management of a patient with dyspnea, ECG. Measurement of blood pressure, Ascites 8. Chronic diseases of the nervous system Exercise: Management and care of a patient with neurological deficits 9. Clinical examination of a patient - horse, dermatology, management of hospitalization, its monitoring, control and successful mastering of basic propaedeutic-examination methods (sedation, anesthesiology, manipulation, specifics in the clinical picture of blood, etc.) Exercise: Performing a clinical examination of the patient, taking samples, monitoring, equipment necessary for the hospitalization of a horse, methods of transport and principles of transport of a sleeping patient, a recovering patient, methods of sedation and preparation of the operating team for surgery, sterilization, disinfection, operating room, etc. 10. Cardiovascular and pulmonary apparatus in a patient - horse Exercise: Practical execution and examination of a patient (nasogastric sounding, first aid for suffocation, cardiac examination of a patient, percussion lung field, stress tests, examination for shortness of breath) 11. GIT diseases and colic in horses. Exercise: USG examination of the abdominal cavity, physiological / pathological, first aid for colic horses, infusion therapy, conservative therapy and monitoring of a colic patient 12. Diseases of the locomotor, neurological, genital and urinary system, their clinical picture and specifics of the basic disease manifestations 13. Metabolic horse diseases. Practice: biopsy, preparation for collection of biological material and their processing, sending, processing of administrative requirements |
