Active participation in internships in the required range of hours is required for successful completion of the subject. | |
Learning outcomes | |
By completing the subject, the student will acquire basic information about the practise and duties performed by a private veterinarian and learn to perform medical, prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks. |

Brief outline of the course | |
-safety at work - preventive, prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks under the supervision of a veterinarian on duty - administrative work. |

Course syllabus | |
Instruct students about work safety. Patient management: admission, registration, identification, anamnesis, fixation, basic clinical examination according to the type of animal, diagnostic plan, vaccination plan, differential diagnosis, treatment proposal, drug application, patient monitoring, postoperative care and patient hospitalization. |
