CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE | |
In order to pass the course, the student must have active participation in lectures and practical training. The prerequisite for passing the examination is the preparation and defence of a seminar paper on a topic assigned by the supervisor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The examination is awarded on the basis of an assessment of the knowledge acquired (in the A-E range). | |
Learning outcomes | |
By completing the course, the student acquires detailed knowledge of the principles of functioning of individual systems, their adaptation and regulatory mechanisms in a healthy animal organism. As a result of the study of the subject, the student will be theoretically and methodologically prepared to solve his/her own dissertation topic in the field of a specific discipline. |

Brief outline of the course | |
The course outline has been developed with the aim of detailed extension of theoretical knowledge within the functioning of specific organ systems. Physiology of the blood, immune and circulatory systems. Physiology of the respiratory system. Physiology of the digestive and excretory systems. Physiology of endocrinology. Physiology of the reproductive system and lactation. Central nervous system and sensory perception. Physiology of the muscular system, skin and thermoregulation. |
