The Scientific Board is the highest professional academic body of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. The members of the Scientific Board are appointed and removed by the Rector after the opinion of the Academic Senate. The competence of the Scientific Board is given by Act no. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended, and Internal Regulations of UVMP in Košice. The members of the Scientific Board are prominent experts from the ranks of UVMP senior teachers, prominent experts working in fields of study belonging to the field of veterinary science or related fields and important experts from practice in the field of state administration, research and other veterinary activities. The Scientific Board discusses the annual quality report annually.
