CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
1. Participation the exercises according to the Study Regulations.
2. Credit test completed with a minimum success rate of 51%.
3. Final exam consist from two parts:
1. test with 30 questions from all presentation (lectures and exercises) with identification of breeds of animal - min. 51%
2. oral part of exam - random 1 question ( from list of questions) - oral answer - min. 51%
Result - average grade from all two parts.
Learning outcomes
The student acquires knowledge about the importance of animal husbandry, their domestication, selection and breeding, as well as the use and focus of individual livestock breeds. Within the framework of general animal husbandry, he will gain insight and experience in fixing, handling, weighing and measuring of animals. They will familiarize themselves with the mandatory labelling of individual livestock species. He will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in exterior evaluation as well as active participation in the assessment at exhibitions. At the same time, he gets an overview of the use, utility types and breeding categories of each species of domestic animals. Within the framework of special zootechnics, he will get acquainted with the characteristics and use of individual breeds of domestic animals.

Conditions for completion of course
Content prerequisite:
Biology, Latin terminology, Zoology and Feed plant biology and toxic plants.
Continuous assessment:
In order to successfully complete the subject, the student must participate in exercises and lectures in accordance with the study rules, two credit tests in the semester with an assessment of at least 51%. The correction of credit test can be repeated 2 times.

3. oral part of exam - random 1 question( from list of questions) - oral answer - min. 51%
