CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE | |
During the practices, students are divided into groups. The practices are performed in present form. A student can miss a maximum of one practices without compensation. If the student has more missed practicals, he must agree to compensate them with the tutor of subject. Active participation during the practicals is also mandatory. | |
Learning outcomes | |
After completing the course, students have an overview of dog breeds, not only from the point of view of their history, but also from the point of view of health problems that are typical for individual breeds. The student has an overview of organizing shows and methods of showing dogs at them. In addition, he has acquired skills in the field of grooming of dogs. |

Brief outline of the course | |
An overview of dog breeds with a focus on the history of their origin and the differences between breeds with a similar exterior. Practices also consist of a practical demonstration of dog grooming as well as the implementation of these practices by the students themselves. The student is also familiar with the organization of cynology and dog shows. The training of dogs for different purposes of their use is also presented. |

Conditions for completion of course | |
Continuous assessment: Continuous evaluation is based on active participation in the practices. The student must also present a presentation prepared in the Power Point program. The topic of the work is assigned by the tutor of subject. Conditions for completion of course: During the practices, students are divided into groups. The practices are performed in present form.
