CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
The condition for passing the course is the student's active participation in the exercises according to the Study and Examination Regulations of the UVMP in Košice. Before each exercise, the student should be theoretically prepared for the given topic that is covered in the given week. The student should be able to master the discussed issues. Furthermore, the student must successfully pass the continuous control of the study - credit tests (with the possibility of submitting at an alternative date), as well as the final exam. The condition for passing the final exam consists of the oral and practical parts. The final exam is graded based on the evaluation of acquired knowledge (in the range A-E).
Learning outcomes
The students acquire basic knowledge of anatomy of domestic animals. They learn to orient themselves in the animal's body in relation to planes and directions, regions and topography of organs. Students interpret anatomy in relation to interspecies differencies. They get an overview in the fields of osteology, arthrology, myology and splanchnology. These are mainly animal species that are most often used in the field of research and teaching process.
