CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
Active participation of the student in practical exercises during the semester. A student's absence from one practical exercise during the semester is excused. In case of multiple absences, the student completes a replacement exercise with the appropriate teacher. The student must independently develop and present a seminar paper, which will be graded. Obtaining a minimum grade of E for the seminar work is a condition for credit.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will gain knowledge about pathogenesis and pathomorphological changes in selected diseases of farm and domestic animals. At the same time, they become familiar with the corresponding pathohistological changes that are characteristic of individual diseases. When determining the correct diagnosis, after completing the course, students will be able to differentiate individual diseases based on pathological changes. The given knowledge will help graduates in veterinary practice to decide on the application of effective therapeutic procedures in individual animal species based on the detected changes. Correct diagnosis also plays an important role in the prevention of diseases in individual species of animals.
