Learning outcomes
By completing the subject, the student will revise his knowledge of special pharmacology. Regarding to the completion of clinical courses, student could better evaluate the choice of a suitable drug and approach the pharmacotherapy of infectious and non-infectious animal diseases more comprehensively, concerning to the adverse effects, interactions and contraindications of drugs. By successfully completing the course, the student will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge that will be used in clinical practice.
Brief outline of the course
- therapy and management of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of ruminants
- therapy and management of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of pigs
- therapy and management of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of horses
- therapy and management of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of small animals
- therapy and management of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of poultry, birds and exotic animals with regard to individual variability and drug interactions
