Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Laboratory diagnostics in veterinary practice, as part of primary diagnostics, is intended to enable minimal screening, as almost all important investigated parameters can be determined by rapid methods. Using a form of "minimal screening".
it is possible to carry out examinations of blood, urine, feces, skin and exudates. The result of education in the Basics of laboratory diagnostics subject is the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the field of laboratory technologies and diagnostics for work in veterinary clinics and laboratories in both private and public healthcare with various medical and research focuses.

The partial assessment will take place in the form of a written test in the 7th week of the summer semester. For successful graduation, the student must obtain min. 51%.
The credit test will be taken in the 12th week of the summer semester. For its successful completion, the student must obtain min. 51%.

Final assessment:
Final assessment: comprehensive assessment of the student (practical exercises, credit and final test). Weight: 20% credit test - 80% final test.
The final assessment is the result of a credit test and a final written exam. The final written exam is a written test and includes questions from practical exercises, lectures (ppt presentations) and recommended literature. A 91-100%; B 81-90%; C 71-80%; D 61-70%; E 51-60%; Fx 0-50%
