CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
The final assessment consists of the sum of the points obtained from the credit, which represents 20 percent, and from the exam, which represents 80 percent of the grade. In order to receive credit, it is necessary to submit the relevant assignments according to the instructions. A student who submits complete and correctly prepared assignments according to the instructions receives the full number of points, which is 20 percent of the total grade. Credit will not be awarded to a student who submitted incomplete or incorrectly prepared assignments, or who did not submit assignments at all. In addition to the above, a necessary condition for obtaining credit is the completion of at least 10 exercises with active participation. Successful completion of an electronic / written test in the field of informatics is required to take the exam. To successfully complete the subject, the student must obtain a minimum of 51 percent in total. The evaluation of the subject with a grade is carried out according to the classification scale specified in Art. 20 VP no. 2 UVLF.

Introduction to the MS WORD program (user interface, document settings, text formatting, etc.). Advanced functions of the MS WORD program. (styles, list generation, breaks, objects, quotes, etc.) Introduction to the MS EXCEL program (user interface, document settings, cell formatting, etc.). Advanced functions of the MS EXCEL program (formulas, selected functions, graph, filtering, contingency, etc.). Introduction to the MS POWERPOINT program (user interface, document settings, text formatting, animations, etc.). Introduction to informatics (data, information, information process, representation of information, digital computer architecture, division of computers, history of computers), Personal computer (hardware, software, peripherals), BIOS (basic features and functions of BIOS). Introduction to operating systems (features, functions, history, structure, installation). Application of ICT in practice (mail, communication programs, chat, social networks). Modern Internet (search, information mining, filtering, e-health, e-government, internet banking), Security and data protection (antivirus, filters, security tools and elements, spam, protection against attacks). Selected information systems in veterinary clinics.
