Active participation in internships in the required range of hours is required for successful completion of the subject.
Learning outcomes
By completing the subject, the student will acquire basic information about the practise and duties performed by a private veterinarian and learn to perform medical, prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks.
Brief outline of the course
-safety at work
- preventive, prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks under the supervision of a veterinarian on duty
- administrative work.
Course syllabus
Instruct students about work safety. Patient management: admission, registration, identification, anamnesis, fixation, basic clinical examination according to the type of animal, diagnostic plan, vaccination plan, differential diagnosis, treatment proposal, drug application, patient monitoring, postoperative care and patient hospitalization.

By evaluating the clinical skills of veterinarians on duty at the training workplace.
