CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
The condition for passing the course is active participation in the exercises to the extent provided by the study regulations, elaboration of a test for granting credit at least 51% and passing the exam at least 51%.
Learning outcomes
The result of the education is an understanding of the principles of economics and the acquisition of the basics of management as important prerequisites for the quality performance of the graduate's main mission in practice.

Course syllabus
1. Introduction to economics and management in practice.
2.-3. Economics and economic thinking in managerial work.
4. Objects of interest to the managerial economy.
5.-6. Business environment and managerial decision-making.
7. Assets used for business, issues of long-term and current assets, evaluation of the use of assets, own and foreign sources of financing of assets, decision-making on sources of financing.
8.-9.Costs in business, classical and dynamic views on cost management, current methods and techniques in cost management.
10. Profit and cash flow management in the company, cash flow planning.
11.Monitoring and evaluation of economic results.
12.Controlling as an effective management tool.
13. Veterinary services in practice.

Continuous assessment:
Students will be continuously assessed using tests in the 4th, 8th and 12th week of teaching.

Final assessment:
The final evaluation will be 20/80 percent composed of the average of the interim evaluation and the evaluation within the exam.
