Completion of required hours of clinical practice at the clinic, participation.

Student will obtain practical skills in:

- providing nursing care to hospitalised patients, including patient monitoring and healt checking, feeding etc.

- administering treatments, rehydratation therapy

-preparing animals for surgery, postoperative care

-assisting veterinary surgeon

-communicating with pet owners

-educating pet owners

Patient management:

- receipt, registration, identification, health history, fixation, basic clinical examination,

- therapeutic mastery of simple operations (administering drugs (p.o., s.c., iv.v, i.o. etc.) collection of blood and other sampling, IV cannula placement, application of enema).

-Rehydratation therapy

- Simple laboratory skills

-Client comunication

The safety must be followed during lessons, while perfoming clinical examinations. Required acctivities from the student side:

- Documentation of presented case

-anamnestic data collection

-To monitor the patient during hospitalization and treatment protocol

- Samples colection

- Assistance during specialized diagnostic procedures-endoscopy USG, Xray

- Aplication of drugs and medication
