CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
In order to pass the course, the student must actively participate in lectures and practical teaching. The condition for passing the exam is the preparation and defense of a seminar paper on a topic specified by the guarantor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The exam is awarded based on the evaluation of acquired knowledge (in the range A-E).
Learning outcomes
By completing the course, the student acquires knowledge about the possibility of using the basic methods of clinical and laboratory examination, as well as the evaluation of symptoms for the determination of clinical and differential diagnosis, in connection with the knowledge acquired during the study of morphological disciplines, physiology, pathological physiology and special pathology, as a basis for theory and practice internal medicine.
Brief outline of the course
Plan of individual clinical examination.
Interpretation of the results of clinical findings during the examination of individual organ systems, including the examination of young.
Use of special diagnostic methods (puncture, biopsy, endoscopy, USG, EKG ...).
Neurological protocol, collection and examination of cerebrospinal fluid, interpretation of the results of special examination methods.
Methods of semi-quantitative examination of biological materials.
Hematological and biochemical examination methods, interpretation of the results of metabolic profile tests, breeding examination and herd diagnostics.
