CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
To pass the course, the student must actively participate in lectures and practical classes. The condition for passing the exam is the preparation and defense of a seminar paper on a topic specified by the guarantor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The exam is awarded based on evaluation of acquired knowledge (in the range A-E).
Learning outcomes
The results of the education are verified by the preparation of the seminar work, its defense and the final exam.
Brief outline of the course
The most common diseases of the stomach and intestines of non-infectious and infectious etiology. Clinical manifestation, differential diagnosis of diseases of the stomach and intestines. Diagnostic methods in gastroenterology. Conservative, surgical therapy and therapeutic interventions for diseases of the stomach and intestines. Prevention and preventive measures in the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases.

Final assessment:
Grading is done according to a classification scale consisting of six classification levels: A excellent (excellent results) 91-100%, B very good (above average results) 81-90%, C good (average results) 71-80%, D satisfactory (acceptable results) 61-70%, E sufficient (results meet minimum criteria) 51-60%, FX insufficient 50% and less.
