CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE | |
In order to pass the course, the student must have active participation in lectures and practical training. The prerequisite for passing the examination is the preparation and defence of a seminar paper on the topic assigned by the supervisor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The examination is awarded on the basis of an assessment of the knowledge acquired (in the A-E range). | |
Learning outcomes | |
The result of the study of this subject will be theoretical preparation for own solution of the topic of the dissertation in the field of this discipline by including the endocrine regulations of the homeostasis of the organism and their connection with other disciplines. The results of the education are verified by the preparation of the seminar work, its defense and the final exam. |

General endocrinology - characteristics and mechanisms of action of hormones. Hormones of the hypothalamic-pituitary system. Hormones affecting nervous processes. Hormones regulating metabolism. Hormones regulating mineral and water exchange. Hormones regulating reproduction. Tissue hormones. |
