Completion of seminars and practical exercises. The subject is completed with a credit awarded based on the evaluation of the seminar work.
Learning outcomes
The result of education is the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge about the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most important production diseases of farm animals. The result of the study of this subject will be the ability to implement diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive procedures in solving health problems in the field of disruption of animal production, as well as the student's readiness for his own solution to the topic of the dissertation in the field of assessing the severity of internal environmental disorders and the possibilities of their solution.
Brief outline of the course
The course outline was developed with the aim of mastering the basics of the etiology of production diseases of animals, their diagnosis, therapy and prevention: Characteristics of production diseases Metabolically conditioned disorders of animal production Diseases of the digestive system of animals causing disruption of production Diseases of the reproductive system and their impact on production The influence of mammary gland diseases on production Acid-base balance disorders and animal production Lameness of animals and its effect on production Breeding management and environment in relation to animal production.
