In order to pass the course, the student must actively participate in lectures and practical teaching. The condition for passing the exam is the preparation and defense of a seminar paper on the assigned topic guarantor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The exam is awarded based on evaluation of acquired knowledge (in the range A-E). | |
Learning outcomes | |
nternal diseases of horses are a part of veterinary medicine dealing with prevalence, etiological causes, pathological physiology of the disease, recognition and diagnostics, differential diagnostics, treatment of organic and functional system disorders organs of horses. The doctoral student synthesizes knowledge from the pathological physiology of nature and course diseases of the organ system, chooses appropriate methods of recognition and diagnosis of the disease after on the qualitative and quantitative side, selects a suitable therapy as well as its optimal application form. He will be able to carry out the prevention of systemic diseases, provide related consultations and counseling. Recognizes, analyzes and reduces the risks of organ system diseases in farms horses. |

Recognition of the most frequent syndromes of horses and foals. Choosing a suitable diagnostic methods, correct interpretation of measured values, verification of clinical diagnostics. Choice of therapy after in terms of application form, effectiveness, availability and economic efficiency. Ensuring prevention and reducing the risk of internal diseases in horse farms. |
