CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
Completion of seminars and individual consultations, preparation of seminar work and its presentation. Taking seminars represents 30%, preparation of the seminar paper 50% and presentation 20% of the total grade. Credits will not be awarded to a student who obtains less than 50% in any section.
Learning outcomes
By completing the compulsory optional subject, the student will master the necessary knowledge from the latest knowledge in the field of biochemistry in relation to the problem being solved and will acquire knowledge at the molecular level in relation to the topic of his dissertation in the field of veterinary surgery, orthopedics and radiology.
Brief outline of the course
Disorders of acid-base balance and management of water and electrolytes in patients in the postoperative state.
Biochemical aspects of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
Biochemical markers in patients with cardiac surgery.
Biochemistry of wound healing.
Bone resorption and new formation at the molecular level, bone mineralization disorders, clinical-biochemical diagnostics.
Molecular basis of dental caries pathogenesis.
Pathogenesis of lens opacities at the molecular level.
