CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
In order to pass the course, the student must have active participation in lectures and practical training. The prerequisite for passing the examination is the preparation and defence of a seminar paper on the topic assigned by the supervisor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The examination is awarded on the basis of an assessment of the knowledge acquired (in the A-E range).
Learning outcomes
By completing the course the student will gain knowledge about the functions of organs and tissues involved in reproductive processes in animals. As a result of studying this course, the student will be theoretically prepared for the actual solution of the dissertation topic in the area of the neural and endocrine regulation of reproductive homeostasis of the organism and their connection with other subjects.
Brief outline of the course
Sexual differentiation and intrauterine development of the individual; functional morphology of male reproductive organs; mechanisms regulating male reproduction; functional morphology of female reproductive organs; mechanisms regulating female reproduction.
