CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE
In order to pass the course, the student must have active participation in lectures and practical teaching. The prerequisite for passing the examination is the preparation and defence of a seminar paper on the topic assigned by the supervisor (in the range A-E), which is the result of self-study. The examination is awarded on the basis of an assessment of the knowledge acquired (in the A-E range).
Learning outcomes
By completing the course, the student will master the necessary knowledge of the latest knowledge in the field of public veterinary medicine in relation to the dissertation topic. The student will also acquire additional knowledge of forensic veterinary medicine in relation to infectious animal diseases.
Brief outline of the course
Duties and powers of official veterinarians in relation to the prevention, control and control of infectious animal diseases; Duties and powers of private veterinarians in relation to the prevention, control and control of infectious animal diseases; Reporting of infectious animal diseases; Health requirements for the movement and trade of animals; O.I.E. Terrestrial Animal Health Code; O.I.E. Aquatic Animal Health Code; Performance of forensic activities with a focus on infectious animal diseases.
