Learning outcomes
The graduate of the helminthology course in terms of theoretical and practical skills will be able to master the basic scientific methods of helminth research, which will be able to creatively apply and develop in experimental parasitology. By completing the course, the student will have a detailed overview of all major classes of helminths. It will provide detailed information on accurate species diagnosis of helminths according to morphological characteristics and methods of obtaining samples from animals and the environment. The student will gain practical skills in the preparation of macro and micro specimens of parasitic worms. By completing the course, the student will have a detailed overview of zoonotic worms.
