Learning outcomes | |
By completing the subject, the student acquires knowledge about procedures aimed at the production and production of fodder and fodder in the system of classical and also ecological agriculture. He will achieve knowledge that will allow him to assess the quality, nutritional and dietetic value of fodder and feed included in the feeding process of production farm animals. He will become familiar with the differences in providing nutrition in conventional animal farms and farms focused on organic production. |

Brief outline of the course | |
Principles of creation and production of plant biomass - biochemical processes, nutritional composition of fodder. Biology and morphology of cultural economic crops. Characteristics of agricultural production areas. Agrotechnics of growing annual and perennial fodder. Evaluation of the quality of fodder and fodder and their production efficiency. Grazing - characteristics and methods of direct grazing of perennial crops or annual fodder. Ecological agriculture as a method of agriculture, focused on the production of feed and food using natural substances and procedures. The impact of ecological agriculture on the environment. Legislation regarding organic farming and standards of living conditions for animals in organic farming. |
