Participation in practical exercises and lectures according to the study schedule, preparation of a seminar paper work, successful completion of the final exam.
Learning outcomes
The subject provides the basic knowledge and skills needed to manage the daily work of a member of the veterinary rehabilitation team. After completing the course, the student masters the methods for effective assessment and treatment of patients with various pathological conditions. Coverage includes rehabilitation protocols for many types of skin, neurological and musculoskeletal injuries that facilitate faster and more complete animal recovery.
Brief outline of the course
Aspects of veterinary rehabilitation and physiotherapy. It includes non-pharmacological pain treatment, practical, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, patient and owner motivation, problem solving.
