PODMIENKY NA ABSOLVOVANIE PREDMETU
The condition for passing the subject is to obtain credit and the successful completion of the test (in written form). For the credit awarding a 100% active participation in seminars, preparation and presentation of the essay (evaluated for minimum of 11% from 20%) is required. The evaluation is included to the final evaluation in exam.
Výsledky vzdelávania
By completing the subject, the student will revise his knowledge of special pharmacology. Regarding to the completion of clinical courses, student could better evaluate the choice of a suitable drug and approach the pharmacotherapy of infectious and non-infectious animal diseases more comprehensively, concerning to the adverse effects, interactions and contraindications of drugs. By successfully completing the course, the student will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge that will be used in clinical practice.

Syllabus of Practicals:
Significance and contents of clinical pharmacology, their position in medical disciplines, general principles of treatment, the possibility of drug application, classes of substances used in veterinary medicine.

3. Therapy of selected diseases of cattle and small ruminants (infectious and non-infectious diseases of individual organ systems) - seminar thesis.
4. Treatment of selected equine diseases (infectious and non-infectious diseases of individual organ systems).

Podmienky na absolvovanie predmetu
Content prerequisite:
The study of Clinical Pharmacology requires the attendance of following subjects: General surgery and anaesthesiology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapeutics.
Continuous assessment:
Preparation and presentation the essay.
Conditions for completion of course:

Final assessment:
The examination test contains questions from pharmacotherapy of various diseases in animal. Students’ performance and knowledge will be assessed and the results represented by amount of percents using the following classification: 91-100% A and 81-90% B 71-80% C 61-70% D 51-60% E 50 and less Fx.
