PODMIENKY NA ABSOLVOVANIE PREDMETU
To successfully complete the course, the student must participate in seminarsin accordance with the study regulations, present a seminar paper, and pass a written examination in the semester with a grade of at least 51%. The student may repeat the written examinations twice. The revision dates will be announced by the course tutor. The course ends with an examination.
Výsledky vzdelávania
Course completion gives knowledge about behavior problems in pets; students will be able to assess the aspects of the behavior of the pets in a qualified way and, in the case of abnormalities, solve their therapeutic problems.
Stručná osnova predmetu
Psychosocial relationships human - animal, abnormal behavior and options of therapy, basic forms of behavioural disorders in dogs, their prevention and therapy, basic forms of behavioural disorders in cats, their prevention and therapy, basic forms of behavioural disorders in pets birds,small mammals, terrarium animals, their prevention and therapy.

2. Importance of ethology for veterinary practice, creation and importance of etho-questionnaire
3. Categorization of etopathies, ontogenetic aspects of abnormal behavior, therapeutic bases of behavioral anomalies
4. Ethology and behavioral disorders of dogs; Case Reports
5. Ethology and behavioral disorders of cats; Case Reports
6. Ethology and behavioral disorders of parrots; Case Reports
7. Emotionality and aggression in dogs and cats, dog temperament, dog temperament tests
8. Averse emotional states of dogs and cats (fear, phobia, destructive behavior, separation anxiety) - causes, prevention, therapy.
9. Abnormal motor behavior - hyperactivity, extreme vocalization, et-epileptic anomaly, migraine activity, undesirable digestive behavior - causes, prevention, therapy
10. Secondary behavioral disorders of dogs as a result of clinical diagnosis
11. Secondary behavioral disorders of cats as a result of clinical diagnosis
12. Ethology and behavioral disorders of small mammals, terrarium animals, prevention, therapy
