PODMIENKY NA ABSOLVOVANIE PREDMETU
Active participation of the student in practicala and seminars. Preparation and processing of information in the presentation of seminar work on a selected topic. Mastering the issue in practices. Passing of credit test in semester (with knowledge gained from lectures and practicals). Substitution of missed practicals as well as missed credit tests, if it is necessary.
Výsledky vzdelávania
The student will acquire basic knowledge of general and special pathological physiology. Examples are the mechanisms of the origin and course of diseases, fever, inflammatory processes, functional changes and disorders of individual organs and organ systems. Pathological physiology will contribute to a better understanding of pathophysiological processes for the study of subsequent clinical subjects. It will also be the basis for rational diagnostic procedures as well as in the therapy and prophylaxis of diseases or as part of intervention in their pathogenesis. The knowledge and skills acquired during the study of this subject will also contribute to the development of scientific research.
Stručná osnova predmetu
Students will become to learn the basic terms in pathological physiology. At the same time, they will gain knowledge of general pathological physiology. In this way, they will have a knowledge with pathophysiological processes such as disease, fever, inflammation, general adaptation syndrome and the like. The special part of pathological physiology will be focused on the pathophysiology of the digestive, uropoietic and respiratory systems, the development of endocrinopathies and myopathies, lactation disorders and acid-base balance. Qualitative and quantitative disorders of blood cells will also be included in this part of the subject.
