Principles of immunoprofylaxis (active and passive immunization, post – vaccination complications, possible solutions to reduce occurence the incidence of post-vaccination complications in vaccination, immunity control). 7. Organization of prevention and control of infectious diseases. Animal health control in Slovakia. Hierarchy of control authorities in veterináry field. Plan of Veterinary Prevention and Protection of the Slovak Republic focusing on pet animals (general overview): horses, dogs, cats, other carnivores, birds. 8. Preventive veterinary medicine in breeding of dogs, cats and other carnivores- ferrets. 9. Preventive veterinary medicine in breeding of horses. 10. Infectious diseases standards. 3. Communication with client when visiting veterinary ambulance, veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital and records keeping and forms. 4. Veterinarian of the first contact: an ambulance of veterinary hospital. Infectious vs. non-infectious patient. 5. Rapid tests in diagnostics of infectious diseases of dogs. Rapid tests in the diagnostics of infectious diseases of cats. Test for dermatomycoses (Microsporum and Trichophyton). 6. Taking of samples, processing and sendig samples of biological material to veterinary laboratories. 7. Veterinary care of infectious (hospitalized) patient. 8.
