PODMIENKY NA ABSOLVOVANIE PREDMETU
The condition for passing the course is the student's active participation in the exercises according to the Study and Examination Regulations of the UVMP in Košice. Before each exercise, the student should be theoretically prepared for the given topic that is covered in the given week. The student should be able to master the discussed issues. Furthermore, the student must successfully pass the continuous control of the study - credit tests (with the possibility of submitting at an alternative date), as well as the final exam. The condition for passing the final exam consists of the oral and practical parts. The final exam is graded based on the evaluation of acquired knowledge (in the range A-E).
Výsledky vzdelávania
The students acquire basic knowledge of anatomy of domestic animals. They learn to orient themselves in the animal's body in relation to planes and directions, regions and topography of organs. Students interpret anatomy in relation to interspecies differencies. They get an overview in the fields of osteology, arthrology, myology and splanchnology. These are mainly animal species that are most often used in the field of research and teaching process.

Sylabus predmetu
Lectures 2 hours/ Dissections 3 hours.
1st week: General introduction. Basic anatomical terminology. Position and direction of parts of the body. The structures, forms and sizes of bones.
2 nd week: The skeleton and articulations of the thoracic and pelvic limb. Interspecies differences.
3 rd week: The skeleton and articulations of the vertebral column, ribs and sternum. Interspecies differences.
4 th week: The skeleton and articulations of the head. General description and interspecies differences.
5 th week: General description of muscles. Muscles of the thoracic and pelvic limb. Interspecies differences.
6 th week: Muscles of the head and body. Interspecies differences.
7 th week: The digestive system. The body cavities. The oral cavity, salivary glands, pharynx.
Interspecies differences.
8 th week: The digestive system. The esophagus, stomach, fore-stomachs. Interspecies differences.
9 th week: The digestive system. The general description of the intestine, liver and pancreas.
Interspecies differences.
10 th week: The urinary system. The kidneys and accessory urinary tract. Interspecies differences.
11th week: The male and female sex organs. Topographic relations and interspecies
differences.
12 th week: General description of the respiratory system. The nasal cavity, larynx, trachea,
bronchi, lungs and mediastinum. Interspecies differences
13 th week: The topography of organs inside the thoracic, abdominal and pelvic cavity.

Podmienky na absolvovanie predmetu
Continuous assessment:
Attendance of the practical lessons is mandatory. One absent is tolerable.
Passing the oral tests (2x) from previous practical lessons in the 7th week and the 13th week.
